Description:  SU 2 was the local that worked the Binghamton area and north to Oneonta. Typical power was a pair of units. In CP days, this would be handled by a mix of GP9 rebuilds and GP 38s, with an occasional ex Guilford GP 40 thrown in. During the NYSW era, anything they had could show up, as in this case, a GP 39 and RS 36 holding down the job at Bevier St

Description:  There is quite the crowd at the East Binghamton fuel pad today. NYSW and/D&H units bracket a new arrival, a GP39-2 rebuilt at M-K Mountaintop. This was a program undertaken by NYSW to update several units and repaint them into the D&H lighning |tripe scheme. Two other 39s were done, 7403 and 7407, as well as several GP38-2s. The power at left will go out shortly on PYRP.

Description:  PYRP has made it out the north end of the yard, and is now about to cross over the Tier at BD, starting its trip through!Bevier St, and on up to Belden tunnel. The track on the diagonal from where the train is, on the ex DLW, to the Southern Tier Line, is the connecting track used by most trains going west on the Tier, though they can also come in and out by staying on the track PYRP is on now through the DLW station area.

Description:  Sometimes NYSW would cut the power off an MEBU and take it to the yard, leaving one unit on to keep the air pumped up. The new power(or sometimes the power it came in with) would come out, couple on, and go west. Today, one of the original D&H 7600 series GP 39's has the honors of keeping the brakes charged at the south end of Bevier St.
